Carol Pennycook is a partner in the Toronto office of the law firm Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, where she practices law with an emphasis on debt financing, corporate reorganizations and private and public negotiated merger transactions—transactions involving the acquisition of both public and private companies and public-private partnership transactions. In addition, she is an adjunct professor at York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School.
Ms. Pennycook was educated at the University of Calgary (B.Sc. and J.D.), and was admitted to the bar of Alberta in 1981 and Ontario in 1985. She is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Law Society of Alberta.
